Maternity Sessions in Northern Kentucky
I’ll be brutally honest, there are only a select few months of the year I enjoy shooting outside. About September-November and THEN…. the dead of winter. I know, I know, most people think of Spring and Fall as the most “photo-worthy” seasons to do outdoor pictures. But, I would personally be ok to never shoot in Spring ever again. Like ever. ever ever ever….. Stay with me… One, it is SO incredibly rainy! I’ve packed an April month many a times, only to have to reschedule every. last. one of them because of the Spring monsoons. And then there’s those pain in the butt Spring greens! This is likely something a paying client has never even considered, but I know my fellow photogs hear me! The neons in the grass and foilage is something most of us cringe over in editing!
This leads me to why I much prefer the middle of winter, over a Spring session, bar none! The dead foilage lends itself to those yummy Earth tones that I just crave in photos! You can really pull the richness of the browns and coppers, and maize colors that drizzle over the fields. And oh man… on those lucky days that you get a sunset to boot… well, you might as well have struck gold!!
Case in point… The Prewitt Maternity Session. Gobble it up because this January session was just so scrumptious!
Don’t let your pregnancy pass on by without photographing this special time in your lives, just because your 3rd trimester might fall in the cold months! Maternity sessions document your growing and changing body that is doing the HARD work to bring your baby into this world. It’s one of the most amazing transformations a woman can go through, and I’m here to make you feel gorgeous and glowing, even if we have to bundle up and drink hot cocoa in between shots! ;)
